Education Matters

We believe in the power of preparation and education.  Like other professionals, real estate agents have the ability to specialize in certain areas of the business by earning designations.  These designations are achieved through extensive training and education.  In simple terms, designations enable agents to increase their skills, proficiency and knowledge in various real estate sectors.  Designations also provide agents with access to members-only marketing tools and resources which can be an added benefit to buyers and sellers.

Current Designations held by RE/MAX Southwest Living Agents

There are differences between REALTORS® and real estate agents.  We are both licensed to sell real estate, the difference is that a REALTOR® is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and must subscribe to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.  

The Accredited Buyer's Representative designation is designed for real estate agents who focus on working directly with buyer-client at every stage of the home-buying process.  

The SRS Designation elevates professional standards, enhances individual performance, and recognizes real estate professionals who demonstrate the knowledge and skills essential in professionally and ethically representing sellers.

At Home With Diversity
At Home With Diversity is an educational experience designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry.  


CRS agents must meet stringent education and experience requirements. That's why only 3% of REALTORS are Certified Residential Specialists.
